Exciting things are happening at Terra Preveli… involving a lot of bamboo.. A new space on the land has been in the creation over the last months, and we already feel the significance these new spaces will have – for gathering, for eating, for good talks and community feelings. The new spaces are located by the river and under the ancient trees – in the other end of the land from our main house area.
We are extremely lucky to have had an incredible team of volunteers and workers staying with us long-term and helping us move these ideas into reality. Both the new kitchen and compost toilet have a lot of bamboo – so with our sweet team and family we have been gathering bamboos .
These are the new spaces in our new River side zone:
– A kitchen overlooking the mountains, with sweet little spots to sit around and meet over coffees, meals and good talks. It’s an exciting new space and has been in the making over several months. Now we are finalizing the space by adding a pergola and a bamboo roof which the super talent Or is applying at the moment.
– An outdoor practice zone for groups to gather and practice yoga, meditations, movement and so on. This gives groups an option to practice in the shade in the energy of the ancient trees.
– A compost toilet overlooking the river, so beautiful and harmonious that we have to mention Ofer Dagan for his wonderful mind in this project. Now it’s being finalized in collaboration with a local tile and stone worker.
These spaces are created with the dream to gather people – to share art, music, good talks and great food. We want to learn from each other, share stories and knowledge and find inspiration for harmonious lives. We are lucky to already see this happen at Terra Preveli – so many like-minded people from all over the world are passing by and this makes us feel even more committed to these dreams and visions. We will post more pictures once the spaces are ready – for now here you see some from the work in the progress.
